Kyosho ECO Tune Motor - Great for "Slower-than-Stock" class racing?

According to this forum thread, this motor is a type of stock motor that lasts 50% longer compared to a normal stock motor (featured in the new i-series2 readyset).
A great suggestion there is to run this in a "Slower than Stock" class race - where there's not nearly as much speed overall, and line/cornering technique becomes the major factor of being fast.
I like the idea. Running bone stock MR015 chassis with identical bodies maybe?

True AWD is here!
Finally running a true AWD body on my AWD-racer. What it gives up in stability entering corners, it makes up in nimbleness around the tight stuff. The rear Atomic SAS-arm is a very good independent suspension design, but it's a nightmare trying to tune it. I think I've finally got the hang of it though. The Calsonic R32 terror is here! :)

Simon's Track - Version 4
After a long and (back) painful process, my basement is finally clean and organize again. Some modification works have been done to the Mini-Z track as well - with extended area and "zebra zone". Can't wait to host a race soon.
Here are a few photos of the new track, as well as some old ones dating back to the very first version! Enjoy!

AWD Transformation continued...
Some people just can't leave well enough alone.. :p
The 2x2 FET stack is gone, replaced by an external ESC (Spider V2.1). Test run w/ X-speed AWD motor makes a smooth ride.. and more importantly, glitch free!
This Turbo ESC was supposed to be used for reviving a scap board.. but it didn't seem to solve the problem w/ the board.. so it's gotta go somewhere... hehe
Another thing, the switch cleaner/lubricant works wonders on the steering sensor/pot. The shaking is now gone. We'll see how long it will last ;)

No Enzo domination in sight!
You won't be just running w/ the super fast Enzo's on the track! Don't forget the DTM Merc! Now 2x2 FET stacked powered by Atomic stock!
So you'll be seeing more of this....(the rear-end of the car) hehe :p

AE86 headlights and front bumper
Got the new parts from Dinball, including a front bumper plate that attaches below the front body mount (it seems to be a bit too close to the ground and might rub during cornering tho... will need to try and find out). Also installed the Glow Masta headlight set. There's a little button that toggles between 5 blinking modes. Cool :)
I've posted a few video clips demonstrating the blink modes, check it out here:
